Conditions in Designer Scripts

Hi,

is there a way to use conditions in Designer Scripts?

I have a layout that should be scaled only to a certain size (5'). On larger screens it should stay 5' and be centered.

How can I achieve this?

I tried "If then" but that does not work.

I tried "100%x > 1000dip" but that doesnt work either.

Any suggestions?

Erel, is it possible to add "if then" to the next B4A version?

Conditions in the designer script are currently not supported. They will not be added in the next version. Maybe later.

I also plan to add min / max keywords which can also be used in this case.

Make sure to check the designer script tips (see my signature). It explains how you can use a scaling factor to target different screen sizes.

Another option is to create a layout variant for larger screens.
