B4R Question Connecting WEMOS to UNO

Hi,
I wish to connect a UNO to WeMos so i can send UNO log() serial data via the WeMos

Is it as simple as connecting the UNO TX/RX pins to the WeMos RX/TX (and gnd)

Moved to the questions forum. Why do you want to use the UNO at all? Run your program on the WeMos directly.

Im using 3 analog pins, and 12 digital, i was thinking of if i hook up the WeMos i could then send the Serial log() to a remote server and also use the extra pins.
The WeMos i have does not enough Digital or Analog pins to do all i need.

The Uno is a 5v board and the WeMos is a 3.3v board.

All digital IO pins are protected from over-voltage with a snap-back circuit connected between the pad and ground. The snap back voltage is typically about 6V, and the holding voltage is 5.8V. This provides protection from over-voltages and ESD. The output devices are also protected from reversed voltages with diodes."
