But Duplicate with child views does not duplicate locations
When you have a view of views - i.e. a panel with other controls/views - and you duplicate the panel, the child controls/views of the duplicated parent do not retain locations. I'm having to re-key the Tops and Lefts.
I would like to duplicate whole "layout" to whole "new layout".. now I have to create similar views from zero... and copy/paste between different layouts would be nice..

In the designer window, if you load the layout you want to duplicate, and use "Save As" on the file menu, you can duplicate the current view with a different name.

it would be great to add the ability to select multi items (views) in the designer so that I could move all views up/down at the same time. This would also hopefully allow multi copy/paste to work. Thanks

Yes, this is true. I do not want to be mischievous, however but this is not what I suggested. Just a "simple" copy/paste between activities. Is hard to use Designer menu... maybe some shortcuts like <Del for Remove current view>, <Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v for Duplicate selected view>..and (in the future, maybe between diffrent activities)
Thanks, I know this is a huge job for you. Keep on the good work!
