Could you please test this app?

Hi

I am having what appears to be a hardware issue (possible major disaster) when running my app that I discovered for the first time today.

The app sends OSC messages over a network depending on what region of the screen the user touches and what gesture they use etc. It's was all going smoothly until I tried operating it with only two fingers touching it, with the phone lying on a desk (unfortunately one of the main ways it is intended to be used).

It appears to be some form of grounding issue or something. Doing gestures with more than one finger when another part of my hand (or other part of my body) is not in contact with the phone results in the app receiving touches on the screen that are not happening.

(If you run it and click on the logo to enter the app, you should see the graphics to show where you are touching, if you don't, press Menu and go into Settings and enable Show Touch Graphics.)

I'd be grateful if some people could test this to see whether it is my phone/model (HTC Sensation XE) or something common to Android phones.

Thanks for any help, here is the link to the (incomplete) app....

/Link no longer needed... thanks admac231!/

Cheers

Paul

Thank you so much for testing admac231.... that was one of the most comforting photographs I have ever seen. It inspired me to unplug my phone that I had put on charge since all the weirdness and it turns out that it is working now over here too! :)

I can only assume that the strangeness was caused by some build up of static or something that was discharged when connecting to earth via the charger.

Thanks again and, @vb1992, the reason it reminds you of Star Trek is that this app is the future. :D

Haha that's the first time my hand has been described as comforting!

It's always nice seeing your creation being run by other people so I get you mean.

Yeah that sounds plausible. Chalk it up to an isolated incident.
