DataBase Question

Hello eveybody i'm looking for some help, i've already looked at the tutorials for the SQLite, but what i want to do is create an app that i will be able to store information in an on line database, i was wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction, i would like to find out first of all how to create an online database is it a paid service? i want to be able to store data and retrieve data and display the data on the app, i hope i make sense, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Online databases in most cases are part of a hosting plan, meaning, if you have a website the ISP (Internet Service Provider) gives you some extra tools, including MySQL database access, SQLite databases are generally used locally.
