Anyone is using any Linux distro?
What is your favourite?

I like Ubuntu but there are a few things I don't like. Last year, I tried to find a very light Linux distro, looks good, suitable for touch screen POS machine (Gnome DE), uses less RAM and I found Debian. I am quite happy with Debian 11 Bullseye. Then I have been waited for the next version. Finally version 12 has arrived. Hope I will get some time to install in my POS machine and see how it goes.

I'm on Debian Stable since ten to fifteen years or so.

I'm not very fond of the popular desktop environments so I install Debian fairly barbones and then install OpenBox with a config that suits me perfectly. Exceptionally user-friendly, lightweight, fast and stable.

10/10, would recommend. ?

Aeric what don’t you like about Ubuntu? I use it on my servers, never had any issues with it. I used to run CentOS which was great then they pulled support which was a shame.

For all my server i use Ubuntu. Easy to mantain, easy to find answer on the web.

For my desktop for almost a year i have been using a Mac (with parallels for b4x, only for b4x).

Before that, i used to distro hop so hard, like changing every 2 months or so. I've been in all kinds of distros, my favorite is moebuntu, it is just epic.

Yes, we all like Ubuntu. It is the most popular Linux distribution (based on Debian). My VPS is using Ubuntu but now it (SSH terminal) prompts me with it's support marketing. It is now promoting Snap. It loads more daemons that I don't use and it hurts a bit the startup time on my 10 years old machine with limited RAM. I will use Ubuntu on VPS but not as desktop distro on an old machine. Debian is boring but it is clean. I like it's boot animation and wallpapers. The name sounds more friendly for non-savvy. It uses less RAM.

I am using Open Source sind 1999. Tried several Linux distributions. Used Ubuntu from 2013-2015 on servers and desktops. From 2016-2021 came my Apple time. With end of 2021 I used Linux again. This time I decided for Debian. I do not like snap.
I use Debian testing on desktop and stable on servers. Except some old stuff on my Nextcloud system after an update I have nothing to complain. Runs stable all the time. On physical systems and on VMs.
