Debug Mode?

I am concerned that I have finally lost it.
Just installed v1.8 and cannot get to debug mode, the program simply compiles and runs, does not say it is in debug mode and of course does not stop on breakpoints.
Is there something new that I have not found documentation on?

In the first drop down list below the menu you must select Debug.

Thanks klaus, I didn't do it before (perhaps default?) so had not spotted it.

The location has changed in version 1.8, before it was on the bottom of the Project menu.
