It would be useful if there were an option for the designer to actually change the base (non-scripted) layout to match the post script layout.
i.e.
layout a random bunch of views
write a script (general or specific) that locates and sizes the views
press a button/menu option or ? that automatically lays out the "bunch of views" in a logical order so that even the un-scripted view layout looks "mostly correct" in terms of location...and maybe size
By doing this it makes it easier to find views you wish to edit if they are randomly located on the "base" view.
