When I plug a scanner into a device it treats it as external keyboard, so when editing a textbox no soft keypad is displayed. I know that I can force the keyboard to display manually but at this point want to bypass that method unless neccessary.
Presently the KB is turned off mannually via system bar and the scanner still function as normal.
Another post mentions using reflection to detect if keyboard is present but not how or if it is possible to disable it.
Does anyone know a bit about these gadgets as the manual and online documentation is a bit thin. Can i program this NOT to be keyboard.
Wedge? Wand? Dual RS-232?
