Geofencing just tells you if your phone moves into a certain "fenced off" area.
To detect other phones, you're probably stuck with bluetooth scanning.

Yes, indeed geofence is quite interesting mcqueccu but it seems not to do the job.
Is there a simple script on the forum that shows how to make a bluetooth scan and count - or perhaps you could please show me the basics andymc, if you have the time?
