Dear people of B4X Forums, here is a note about my last work, a very simple app but with a quite large database of sentences.
I could say "yet another fortune cookies program"....but there is no cookies, only the contents: from this comes the name.
Was it needed? Surely no, but putting order in my museum of informatics I found a set of sentences that I saved from a old UNIX machine over 30 years ago, so I decided to use it. And also added more sentences, mostly in English but also in Italian. The three buttons access 3 different databases.
The app is on Google Play Store since today, or can be downloaded from www.programmidelcoccodrillo.it Everything is free and without advertisement.
Note 1: the moving clouds in the background are a part of a photo taken by me on the Simbruini mountains years ago. I built a simple algorithm to make the clouds to move in a cycle.
Note 2: out of theme --> my previous creation has been a program for Microsoft Windows, useful for who has to set fotovoltaic or solar thermal panels, or just for didactical purposes. You can find it on www.programmidelcoccodrillo.it Its name is OMBRE 2.1, it is free, needs just a registration to use its full functionalities.
