Disable all elements on a panel

I spent a lot of time in searches here but did not found an answer to my question :

Why are not all the grouped elements on a panel are disabled, when i disable the panel ? I know this funtionality from VB (with frames) and miss it here.

At B4A i have do hide the panel or must disable all the elements on the panel each by each programmatically instead of one command panel.enabled = false.

Is there a solution for this problem ?

If not, pls. add this to your wish list.

This is how the native Android views behave. You can use this code:

Sub EnableAll(p As Panel, Enabled As Boolean)
   For Each v As View In p
      If v Is Panel Then
         EnableAll(v, Enabled)
      Else
         v.Enabled = Enabled
      End If
   Next
End Sub

Good ole Recursion. What type of Stack Space limitations does Android/JAVA have if there were thousands of views to process?

The recursion depth only depends on the number of nested layouts (Panel -> Panel -> ...).

It is hard to believe that you will hit any limit with any reasonable layout.
