I've been asked to write an app that will properly display formatted text. The files may be of any of the following types: rtf, pdf, doc. The formatting will inlcude not only typeface, size, color, plain, bold, italic (or both) but ordered and unorder lists (numbered or bulleted), indents/tabls (including hanging indents and left, center, right tabs) and left, center, right and full justification. For example, some of the text is a section title at the left margin with the same line having a reference that is flush with the right margin (no tab for the title, right tab for the reference ??). The files will also have specific individual pages (automatic pagination/repagination cannot be used).
Will the pagination library (I forget its actual name) achieve this? Or is there another library that will enable me to what needs to be done? If not, can and will someone help me figure out the best way(s) to accomplish this with efficient code.
