Just wondering what is the best way to get the distance from a location without flattering a battery quickly?
I want to be able to allow the user to press a button on the page which will set the current location, and in a service make it check and find out when they reach 500 meters from the location they set and alert them.
However I want it to work both ways. When they move away from the location and when they move closer to the location (by 500meters).
It doesn't need to be 100% accurate, but approx. 500 meters etc from the location.
Anyone know the best way in doing this without making the devices battery go flat quickly ?
