B4J Question dots beside checkbox

do you see those little dots sitting to the right of the checkbox? i seem to be able to check in the box or on the 3 dots to set the checkbox. how do i make them go away? thanks

You have some text in your Checkbox but you haven't given the Checkbox enough room to display it all so you get that ellipsis (the dots). Either give the Checkbox more room or make the text shorter (looks like you barely have room for 2 or so characters).

text in a checkbox?

The Checkbox have a property "Text" which will show a Label beside the checkbox using this text.
Just empty this text i guess

mycheckbox.text  = ""
