Download File from FTP Server

As I am going to Download file from Server via FTP (net Library).It works fine,But in our server there are more than 8000 file in FTP root directory.
When I download a single file from server to device it takes long time to complete List (FTP_ListCompleted ).Is there any way to skip List and download a single file.Pls advise ASAP.
