Embed your images into a .DAT file with this builder

Gruetzi Klaus,

Thanks a lot for the update. Excellent work!

Noticed that you filter *.jpg and *.bmp for images to
be embedded. You can faithfully add *.gif and *.png to
the filter. I've tried it

The form title "ImageEmbedBuilder" truncates at the right
of the screen. What about a short acronym for your program,
such as "KIEB V1.60" (Klaus'sche Image Embed Builder) :)

Just an idea, based on the "KIEB" template, what about
a slide viewer application? Select an image, add a comment,
count the images and pack it all in binary (slide show file, *.ssf).
Then, upon loading, browse all images on a full screen using
the device's hard keys. User comment selectably superimposed
on a transparent foreground layer or overlayed panel.
Just trying to keep you away from the streets :)

Some time ago, I wrote a slide viewer myself, but I am still running
for a means of adding smooth transition effects, such as
fade-in/fade-out. The last one will be bitten by the dogs :sign0148:

Cheers
Robert

Hallo Robert
Thank you for your remarks and future evolution proposals.

I have shorten the program name to 'ImEmB', I was not aware of the long name, I had not tested it on the device.
I added the *.gif and *.png file types for the embedding.
I replaced some Buttons by ImageButtons with their images embedded in a file so the program shows inside what to do to use the embedded image files.

Version V1.7 is available in the original post.

For the future evolution I will think about it, but it will take more time.

At the moment I am working on a dynamic simulation program for systems with a drive with control loops, a motor and a mecanical load linked with an elasticity to the motor, a movement generator and graphic results display. This will keep me busy for a while. As soon as I have something to show I will post it.

Klaus,

The evolution is absolutely stunning! I can't believe how much that little post I made has accomplished. You are really going above and beyond... I like it!

Hi Andrew,
I don't think that this survives translation
I doubt it, too :)
Sure, Klaus got the picture.

And, thanks so much again for your awesome library for 'me'.
