error occurred....???

An error has occurred in sub; tabledataadd01_button15_click(jav..... Object should first be initialized(Panel). Continue?

i've initialized the Panel1 all over the place trying to get this to go away so i don't believe that whatever this error is has to do with initializing the panel. any help on this much appreciated

could this have to do with initializing the components ON the panel?

It is hard to say without seeing the code. The problem is with an uninitialized Panel. Not something else.

what i've tried....

it is panel1 so i have put Panel1.initialize("") alternately and even at the same time in global activity and local subs where i get the error.... is there something wrong with "Panel1.Initialize("") ??

As Erel already told you, without seeing the code showing what you have done where and how impossible to give you a concrete answer.

dumb mistake!!!

but you already suspected as much..... initializing wrong panel due to copied code..... sorry
