Hello, I am trying to implement the demo about the google map but I have some problem...

1. The application compile very well (the library is referenced in my app, I configured the Manifest editor, the private sign key, I have a app key from google console for the service, etc)

2. The application runs, but in 2 or 4 seconds the application stops (without showing the map). I am using the demo in:http://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/google-maps-android-v2-tutorial.24415/
I copied and pasted the example is in that link... the google service is available but the app crashes.

3. The GPS example works very well, but the map part does the app stops. I am attaching the sample.

4. When the app runs in my cell phone, the google service said that is available. I put into the library folder the GoogleMaps.jar and GoogleMaps.xml found in your website.

Thanks for your answer.

Julio

Thanks for your answer (I am new in Basic4A) ... I am attaching the zip file exporting for the IDE....
When the app runs over the AVD Manager doesnt appear the error but the google services is not available. When I run the app over my cel phone (Samsung galaxy note) the app stops after 3 seconds.. (but the message "Not available" doesnt appear.

I run the Googlemaps.apk I found in your webpage and It works well (so It's not my cell)... may be my API Key?

I dont know how to review the logs in my cell phone? in the IDE doesnt appear any message

It doesn't crash here. The map cannot show as I'm not using the same sign key as you.

The toast message that you are showing in LocationChanged is dangerous as it can create many messages. Use Log instead.

If you are connecting to your device with B4A Bridge and your device is running Android 4.1+ then you will only see the logs when running in Debug mode.
