Event Logs Equivalent

Is there an equivalent to event logs in Android?

As an example is it possible to:

1. Record the date a button was clicked in my app
2. Close the app, and come back three days later to retrieve the date stored in the previous step.

Or could this only be achieved by opening a bespoke txt file and logging there?

Any pointers would be great!

There is an internal log. Actually the Log keywords writes to this log. However its capacity is limited.

You will need to write your logging to a text file.

Assuming that this is a pretty small file then you can put it in File.DirInternal.
