iOS Question Expired certificate

My certificates are about to expire in a few days. Once I create new ones, do I have to publish a new recompiled version of the app ?

My certificates expires on march 8th but right now I realize that Apple push notifications are already no longer working....
I will try to revoke current certificates and create new ones. Can I use the same key and old csr file, right ?
