Android Question Fatal Error: java.lang

I'm having the same problem.
My Error is:
javac 1.8.0_74
Fatal Error: Unable to find package java.lang in classpath or bootclasspath

My paths are:
C:\ProgramFiles\Java\jdk1.8.0_74\bin\javac.exe
C:\ProgramFiles\Android\AndroidStudio\plugins\android\lib\android.jar

I even made sure both were installed without spaces in the directory names. I've uninstalled Android SDK and Java SDK and reinstalled it numerous times, even trying different versions of Java. I've read the previous posts, followed the suggestions and am just stumped. Any help would be truly appreciated.

You need to install Android SDK. It will not work with android.jar from Android Studio.
