Android Question FCM vs GCM

Hello,

I have an old app running with GCM and have no one intention about changing it (upgrading to FCM)

Does somebody know if GCM will be running for a while?

As of April 10, 2018, Google has deprecated GCM. The GCM server and client APIs are deprecated and will be removed as soon as April 11, 2019.

You only need to change the code a bit. See the examples where the differences are.
