friendly Bluetooth name

Can anybody tell me how to get "friendly Bluetooth name" from
the headset when the phone connects to it ?

You should retrieve the object mapped to: "android.bluetooth.device.extra.DEVICE"
This will return an object of type BluetoothDevice.

Using reflection you should call getName:

Dim r As Reflector
r.Target = intent.GetExtra(...)
Dim name As String
name = r.RunMethod("getName")

You should use StartingIntent.GetExtra("android.bluetooth.device.extra.DEVICE")

It is also worth verifying that the intent does include this field.
