B4R Question fuel injection?

Stupid question 1, is this platform suitable for real time apps like fuel injection or auto ignition control?

It depends on the "real time" requirements. B4R only uses static memory and there is only a single thread. Nothing else happens on the CPU except of running your program.

hmmm , i guess for an programmable ignition system it basically needs to calculate timing based on input variables, timing pulses will be coming at up to 8000 rpm X say 36 for a 36 wheel pickup so approx 300khz, will that be 2 fast to allow some calculations between pulses?
i will need to do some research but would appreciate any comments.
What if i used 2 CPU's, one to create the firing pulses and one to crunch the numbers then send a delay variable to the first CPU...
there might be better platforms to do it but would love to do it with b4r
