Android Question Generate different license key

Hi
i wish to sell my app to some vendor, the app will not be on google play.
i need to provide him bulk of licenses key.
and I need to check on my app that the key is valid

how can I generate difference of licenses that all will valid on my app?
any idea how to do all or if you have different solution?

Will the user manually enter this key when the program starts?

You can use a MySQL database filled with random keys to test the user input.

but it means that someone can open this database and see the keys, no?

You should host the MySQL database no your site / server (not a local SQLite database).
