Android Question Geolocation and Google API

Hey guys

It's been quite some time since I have done any coding, the last time I used Googles API's it was free

I note now that a paid account needs to be opened to use googles geo location. If the app I use only accesses the api infrequently (maybe 200 a month - it is not a commercial app) would there still be a charge?

Any info much appreciated

Check the allowed accesses in the free plan.
Your amount should be ok for free....

You need to add billing to your project to be able to use a new api-key.
If you stay within the limits you don´t get charged

There is a quota which you can set somewhere in the projectsettings or billingsettings. Search GOOGLE. Google knows!

Many Thanks, I have just found it. the limit is 40,000 per month and yes you can set a daily limit.
