get device ip & transfer files to server

Hello sir

I want to create application on device and service side

device side

my main moto of this applicaion on device side

1) in my client shop they have 7 devices (wm6 htc diamond)

from device to server i want to send small text file to server with device ip



if server received request from device, my server will process some calculation and create small text file to device


then device will show the text file (what i have received from server)

Please help me in how to transfer files via wifi

and how to know from which device i got the request
