It looks like your device does not have the necessary library. What is the device and is it based on WM 5.0 or later?
EDIT:- Silly me! I've only just noticed that is a desktop message box. GPSDriver only works on a device which must use WM 5.0 or later, desktops and earlier devices don't have the necessary libraries.

Y Hello Mr. AgrahamThe device I am using (MDA Pro) is based on WM 5.0!
GPSDriver is located within the same Folder, as the App itself.

EDIT: Testing the GPSDriverDemo on my MDA Pro, I click Connect.
I get the Error Msg = gps failed to open. The Comm Setting on the MDA is 8.
The GPSDriver.dll is in same Folder as GPSDriverdemo.

Yes, other GPS programs work correctly on my device with these settings.
For Exampl. the Gps4ppc App works great with these settings.
The Fugawi App also use the same settings, and this also works.
Well Sir , now I just took a look at the WM5 settings. They had been on Comm8.
Like I stated before, Gps4ppc, Fugawi, and another test App did work with these settings.
I just changed the settings to COMM4, and now the GPSDriver is working!!!
Whats up with this? Please explain just a little bit more to me please!
Now I will check and see if the Gps4ppc, and Fugawi also work with the new Comm4 settings.
