Graphics for beginners

Hi guys,

of course I've tried the sample code but I did not find any hint on which views I can draw graphics (lines, circles, etc.)?

Maybe stupid, but... Could anyone explain that in 1 or 2 sentences like "you'll need ... and ... and then just draw what you want on it"

At the top of this forum page there is a black tab 'Documentation'.
It will take you to a long list of subjects. You need to read about Canvas and also Bitmaps.
That should get you started.

Also try the search button on the right of the forum page and search for those items.
After that perhaps you will have a specific need which may be answered more precisely.

DO not search for canvas because the tutorial is super advanced talking about making a compass. instead, read the beginner's guide on layouts. You can put things on layout like pictures and stuff.

...and suggested searching the forum which does not necessarily limit itself to the tutorial but has many people's views on solving this problem.
