How Do You Post Code in the Forum

What is the proper way to post code samples on the forum so they show up in their own scrollable window?

In toolbar at the top of the editor window you will find a "#"-Button.
When you press the button you will see a "CODE /CODE" tag in the editor window. Insert your code at the position between the two tags.

If you are using the quick reply box then you can just enter [ code ] some code... [ /code ] (without the spaces).
