Android Question How to Create a RAR File?

I have some Folders that I want to Compress to a RAR file.
Can I do that?

Thank you, I did go over both ABZipUnzip and Archiver.

May I ask,
maybe it is possible via the Command Line?

I searched in Google for android rar "command line", and found this page:

In there, there's an item "UnRAR for ARM Linux - Command line freeware ARM Linux UnRAR"
(note it's the second one from the 2 that are for ARM, because there're 2 ARMs there)

Most probably not. You can of course try it with Phone.Shell.

I downloaded the file to my phone, and extracted it.

I then opened "Android Terminal Emulator"
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm

went to the folder it is in, and tried to run the file.

It says:

/system/bin/sh: unrar-3.9.9-arm: not found

I guess this is because the file does not have the X permissin set to it.

I then tried to set the permission to x,
but it seems that I cannot, because my phone is not rooted yet.


So RAR is not going to happen I guess.
I will try Archiver then.
