Android Question How to detect the R to L or L to R language direction in a string.

Hi, i need some help for detecting direction for right to left and left to right languages in a string. i.e. if language is English the the direction is R to L or if language URDU the direction is R to L, upon this detection an label will set (L/R) alignment.

There is such code in BCTextEngine. You can unzip the library, you will find a file named rtl-data.txt. It lists the code points of RTL characters.
