Android Question How to get IP address from DND name

Hi,

I just wanted to pop the ip address (by Msgbox) of a resolved DNS name (e.g www.yahoo.com , etc).

Someone has the sample code for resolving the DNS name into an ip address?

You can use Socket.ResolveHost.
This method is deprecated because it blocks the main thread. You can still use it if you apply this workaround: Workaround the NetworkOnMainThread exception
