B4R Question How to get RSSI signal from BLE Module

Hello All,

I am planning to develop one solution on asset tracking using BLE modules and BLE beacons as clients.
Please advice as which module will be the best fit for BLE to access the beacons and track the location of such ble beacons.

Just getting the RSSI signal will only give you a 2D not very accurate location of the device. For an RTLS (Real Time Location System) you would need a thing called AoA and AoD (Angle of Arrival, Angle of Departure - Link Here) - This is only available on Bluetooth 5+.

To explain 2D - what if you have a warehouse with items stacked on the 6th shelf from the floor - you will know that it is there - BUT not on what shelf it is and then also if your antenna design is not good - the RSSI will fluctuate all the time - please have a look at the links provided - it will give you a much better idea.
