ok ThanksCall WiFi.Scan and then check WiFi.ScannedRSSI.
Soldering an external antenna on your esp8266 may solve your wifi problems.
If you can do your job on the esp without Wifi you can use an ethernet shield with a Wiznet W5500.
I tested like pre. article and I must use wifi range extender.Buy a simple dipole. They are cheap. Also an old antenna from a broken modem is good...
I apply soldering and add external antenna;
But;
It wifi strange not change generally;
This method is not applicable.

I'm not electronic tech. I research your advice. Maybe I will solder without cable (direct anttenna) I will test.
Thank you @thetahsk
I tested wifi scanner with wifi analyzer on android phone. After I opened first topic.also check your Wi-Fi network with a diagnostic tool like INSSIDER. It's a free wifi scanner for Android/Windows so you can check the "black holes" in your Wi-Wifi network.

There should be proper Impedence matching for maximum power transfer....to increase the strength of signal....it is very difficult to do it manually....Please look for such module having inbuilt antenna system...
My target wifi is Blue range; My phone connectted BLUE;A good working stable range -40dBm to -60 dBm. So your Red Range line looks good.
