Android Question How to measure text width on listview.twolineslayout.label

I have the attached problem. I have a twolineslayout.label. I want avoid the string to spilli over to the second line as in the picture. I have tried to measure the required textheight with stringutils.measuremultiline.textheight, then shorten the string, but this does not yield any usable output.

I have tried the javaobject.setline discribed elsewhere, but it seems not to work for listview.multinie labels.

Any hints appreciated
