Android Question How to show a text in the top notificatio bar

Hi,
Many apps (as Watsup, mail, etc) shows a single text instead of a full notification in the (I dont know how to say) top notification bar (see image please)
Any way to do it?

maybe u can use a icon which is a text with picture type like logo

An icon made of text, made on the fly? I dont think so, it must be easier...
