Android Question How to simulate received SMS ?

I found some post telling that it is possible to simulate receiving message

It simulates SMS_RECEIVED broadcast so even devices without SIM card can handle this.
I would really need this to test my app.

Anybody know more about this ?

You can build a library out of this code. Though it will probably not work as the BROADCAST_SMS permission can only be granted to system apps.

Actually I found what I was looking for, as many of you know it :

to simulate SMS in emulator:

B4X:

telnet o localhost 5554
sms send 12345 message

& also to make a call

B4X:

gsm call 12345

What would be great is to have same functionality in androVM (virtualbox) machine
