Android Question How to test for Network Signal Strength...

Hi Everybody
I have written a band hungry APP. It streams lots of data over the NET, almost all in upload to the server. I have found that if the connection is EDGE or less, the APP doesn't work at all. Since I have a fallback procedure in case of no connection, I need to be sure that the connection is at least UMTS. Is there any provision to be sure about the connectivity level before starting the call?

You can use Phone.GetNetworkType.
