Android Question How to use B4XSwitch Text property correctly

Nothing happened when I set it in the Designer.

Also following line of code

B4X:

B4XSwitch1.mBase.Text="test text"

causes the compiler error:

B4X:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Type does not match (class anywheresoftware.b4a.BALayout)

What did I miss?

B4XSwitch doesn't show any text.

Had the same "issue". In the designer, there's a text attribute which let me assume that there IS a text shown.

Any reasons for this behaviour?

The base and text properties always appear with custom views. It is currently not possible to hide them.
