http request via firefox not ie

I hav a question about an http request to google

if a use this statement then i get an error in iexplore and in firefox i get an good result

ie says name geo unknown file type

http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?q=1...tain+View,+CA&output=json&oe=utf8&sensor=true

how can i solve this or can a use firefox for the httprequest?

Save the file and open it with notepad. IE doesn't open it by default. You can probably change it somewhere.
