I lost the designer script

I was typing and made an error in a designer script and the script disappeared (there is a red cross where the script was). How do I retrieve the script?

Have you saved your layout file? The script is saved inside the file. Hopefully you didn't save the corrupted script.

What happens when you load the script again (after restarting the IDE)?
