Image Embedding

Using Basic4ppc ver 6.3 with .net2 and selecting optimised compilation. The file produced for pocket PC does not have the background form image embedded in the file but requires the image as a separate file in the device.
According to the various help information should this file not be embedded or am I doing something wrong.

To embed the image into the exe file you must load the image to the form in the IDE or, still in the IDE, add it to an ImageList control and then you can put image to the form in the code.
If you load the file in the code it is NOT embedded!
