Android Question Installing BAX 8.0 (Solved)

Following the instructions:

when I run SDK manager, I see this error
note: installation look a little different like I did years ago

not sure, if I'm missing something or the instrutions are skipping one step..

after installed android studio, and ran sdk manager (android studio->tools-> sdk manager), fixed the error above.

note: I'm afraid to update B4A 8.0 in my laptop,
then I prefer to try in my PC at work (first time installing in my PC)

Hi,
please keep it separate Android Studio SDK management and B4X SDK Management. in case you need both, place those in different directories.
For B4A use it own SDK instalaltion and management tool as explained in the instalaltion instructions.
Mixing the two will lead to problems. Search the forum for details.

didn't work, I followed the instrutions, like picture below, but error after error, only solved after installed and ran Android Studio SDK manager.

only solved the error above after installed and ran Android Studio SDK management and point it to C:\Android\tools

• . Android SDK
  • Download Android SDK command line tools.
  • Unzip it in a folder such as C:\Android
    
    

Maybe tomorrow, will remove Android studio and B4A to make a new installation..

only solved the error above after installed and ran Android Studio SDK management and point it to C:\Android\tools

This is the wrong solution.

Make sure to start with an empty folder and follow the instructions.
