I'd like to reduce backlight in a tablet. The solution i tried , resets light when the app is not foreground. I'd like to ooerate on the main cursor for back light. So the dimmer becames a general setting.
Best regards

Hi JordiCP, the solution was ok to me. I wanted to reduce light from a tablet screen I have sticked on the wall to show my outside camera network. With less than € 30 I have a video door bell, showing 27/7 the situation on my gate(80m far from my home)
Just for curiosity, are cam and tablet connected by local wifi? I bought a cheap wifi-cam (quite good for the price) that connects to a predefined server from the manufacturer/seller, and allows you to get video and alarms (based on detected movement) to an app, also from the manufacturer -> it works quite decent, would I would like to experiment with an 'open' solution with a cheap wifi cam.
I have the same scheme in my 3 cams. They use ONVIF PROTOCOL very hard to use, you can read the document. But i can see them everywhere with no forwarded port. I have 2 cams in home. They use jpeg push and a forwarded port each. I use the one on the gate as a door camera. The tablet was the price for a subscription. Zero cost or so!
