just a little question. Is it possible to reset the SelectedIndex of a ComboBox to the initial value of -1?

Not as an index value of -1, but it is possible to show an empty string..

You can remove the SelectedIndex item (with RemoveAt) and then insert it.
It will reset the SelectedIndex property to -1.
