IsDigit, IsLetter, IsNumber, IsPunctuation

What are the diferent types of characters?

I know this seems basic and I consider my english to be above average, but what type of characters do a IsDigit catch?

All the others, except blanks and spaces?
None of the other?

IsDigit returns true for 0-9.
