Android Question JDK 8 or 15 ?

which version of java JDK to install JDK 8 or latest 15 ?? the b4x page says install 8.

Just follow the instructions here: Installation Instructions.
There's no version 15 mentioned. You only have a choice of 'Oracle Java 8' or 'OpenJDK 11'. OpenJDK is preferred but requires a 64bit Windows OS.
VERY IMPORTANT though, is to un-zip the package you choose with 7-Zip as Windows Explorer (sometimes?) Corrupts the Folder Structure .

As an alternative you can install OpenJDK 11 or 14.
Version 15 it's not yet supported by B4X.
But as @AnandGupta said, you must evaluate possible problems with some components.

To avoid obscure problems use either Java 8 or JDK 11 from the B4A product page.
Unzip archives using 7-Zip as File Explorer can get the folder structure wrong - Even Microsoft admits this, a few days ago I downloaded a zip from a Microsoft site that explicitly said to not use File Explorer ?
