B4J Question JShell "Run As Administrator" option

Is there a way to "run as administrator" when opening shell in b4j?

I am trying some advanced features of shell (command line) but nothing happens if the user is not an administrator or the command is not elevated.

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried to run the compiled app as an administrator?

Thanks for the reply. I have tried the compiled jar on a Windows 7 and Windows 8 PC and when I right click I have no "run as administrator" option.

The other thought was to convert the .jar to an .exe. Unless you had any other ideas.

Could you not just run it from a batch file, that you have given admin rights to?
eg
test.bat

Java -jar "TheJarYouWantToRun.jar"

Then right click run as admin

The batch file option works. If I distribute the program, I would like the users to just click the jar and run it.

Convert it to an exe file. It is very simple.
